Amy Nikkel of Adagio Acres runs an organic family farm in Manitoba. They love putting seeds in the ground, watching them grow, and sharing the harvest! She believes that food should be a reminder and an excuse to slow down, to find a relaxed 'adagio' tempo that provides time for family, community, and the things that have real value to us. For us, a slower tempo means re-imagining agriculture as a practice that makes sense for our family and for those around us. It means taking time to consider the needs of the land that we live on, one handful of dirt at a time.
Natalie is the original "unbaker" at Rawnata. Her life was dramatically changed for the better through dietary changes and she wants to share her knowledge with others. She believes that superseeds such as flax, hemp, and chia are key components to healthy eating, and that they should be incorporated into people's diets in whatever way possible. Natalie is the mother to three girls and five boys, and the wife to a man who is addicted to Greek yogurt topped with Chocolate Hemp Snackers.
